Pilobolus Dance Company Takes ‘Shadowland' on World Tour

Pilobolus is a unique American performing arts group whose performers work from a dance studio in Washington, CT. Their performances have been featured in television advertisements, as entertainment at the Oscars and in stand-alone productions. The latest of these is, ‘Shadaowland,’ which opened in Madrid on September 18th and is set for Zürich in October before several other stops on a world tour.
Pilobolus’ works are dreamy human dramas, filled with improbable physicality, incredible magic, but most of all, the dreamlike power of metamorphosis. Dancers transform their bodies to imagery and the images merge, one to the other until a new image takes shape.
