I wish I had these Pietari Posti 'Moby Dick' bookmarks when I was reading the thick tome about Ishmael and his crazy adventures on the seas. I already love the literary classic on its own, but with these wonderfully illustrated bookmarks, I can bet my experience would have been enhanced even more.
My favorite part about these Pietari Posti bookmarks, beside the brilliant color scheme and lively images, is the fact that there are five of them, so I can mark all of my favorite passages in Herman Melville's masterpiece. I just hope I don't become as obsessed with these as Captain Ahab was with Moby Dick -- I hear it didn't end too well for him.
Implications - North American consumers are no longer purchasing items on a frivolous basis, as marketplaces have become oversaturated with similar and familiar designs. As an incentive, corporations are now producing items with extravagant designs, which they hope will entice consumers into spending their disposable income again.
