In order to get drivers to be more mindful on the roads, especially when it comes to pedestrian safety, The Society of Automobile Insurance of Québec put together a rather shocking stunt. To deliver the message where it was needed most, the stunt involved having a black coffin walk across major intersections in the city. On the sides of the coffin was a message that read: "Against a car, a pedestrian has no chance."
As seen in the video, there were tons of people taking photos and videos of the out-of-place coffin. Since it is completely unexpected to see a coffin that has seemingly sprouted legs crossing the road, this guerrilla marketing tactic is definitely a memorable way to get both drivers and pedestrians to use all of their senses when it comes to road safety.
