Dairygold, an Irish farmer-owned dairy co-op, has announced the launch of Pastureland, an all-new cheese brand that will retail in the United States. The brand will exclusively offer premium Irish cheddar cheeses and will launch with two main products: 'Aged Creamy Irish Cheddar Cheese' and 'Extra Sharp Irish Cheddar Cheese.'
According to the company, the new premium cheddars are the first Irish cheeses to be exclusively produced in Ireland's legendary Golden Valley dairy region. The new Aged Creamy Irish Cheddar Cheese offers consumers a smooth and subtly sweet flavor profile, while Extra Sharp Irish Cheddar Cheese delivers a rich and tangy taste.
“We could not be more excited to introduce our Irish cheddar cheeses to the U.S. market, particularly during a time when American consumers are so conscious about the foods they eat and the increasing desire to support small family-run farms that promote the most sustainable farming practices," said George MacLeod, head of new proposition development at Dairygold
