Artist Luke Jerram is behind the exciting ongoing Park and Slide Project. This Bristol-based artist wants to put a giant water slide in his city, on Park Street. Essentially the idea behind this urban thrill ride is to allow people to see the city in a different way.
Currently Jerram is attempting to raise money for this intriguing project, and if all goes well this enormous water slide will be underway in May. Photos have been generated to let people see what this urban slide would look like when completed, and fun-loving art fans will be pleased.
Jerram’s water slide would tower over the city of Bristol at 90 meters high. The Park and Slide Project could offer residents and tourists a chance to see this beautiful city in an unusual and unforgettable way.
