Las Vegas wants the gay community to know that, "Everything is sexier in Paris Las Vegas."
In anticipation of the Las Vegas Gay Days & Nights special festivities, held July 3 - 6, Las Vegas has rolled a "straight" to the point ad campaign.
The ads directly target the gay and lesbian demographic with witty pairs of playing cards, an item that is synonymous with Vegas. The cards depict two jacks and two queens in an intimate and loving embrace.
Every night of the 4 days event will feature a different party theme and location, including French Kiss at Risqué Night Club, and Gay Days & Nights dance parties. Daytime activities include pool parties, excursions to Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, rafting on the Colorado River, brunches and (ofcourse) a poker tournament. For the less adventurous types, there is always shopping!
About the event that started last year, Community Marketing, Inc. Projects Director Glen Fishman shared, "The event came about because we were quite surprised that Las Vegas kept coming up on our marketing surveys as the number two in visited destinations by LGBT travelers. We thought that was interesting since you don't think of Las Vegas as having much of a gay infrastructure - so we thought we would try to give some structure/cohesiveness to the Vegas experience."
