Palmolive is relaunching the new Palmolive Ultra Dish Soap in bottles made with 100% post-consumer recycled plastic and this change is anticipated to "divert more than 5,200 tons of plastic a year out of landfills in the US and Canada." The formula itself pairs well with the packaging, as it's as powerful as ever and made with 100% biodegradable cleaning ingredients.
The new bottles made with 100% PCR plastic can be identified with a new label and they include the How2Recycle logo, which spells out recycling instructions so that the plastic packaging can be properly recycled at the end of its usable life, and hopefully, repurposed again in the future.
With this packaging, Palmolive has become the biggest dish soap brand in North America to transition to 100% PCR bottles.
