Knowing that friends have had to spend more time apart during the pandemic, Captain Morgan created an online gaming experience in partnership with live comedy game show Wifi Wars. For a period in September and October, players will be able to participate in the event sharing series of arcade-style games and quizzes.
Who's the Captain Now? unites people from home via their mobile devices, although people also have the option to follow along with the live leaderboards on YouTube. As part of the event, a few celebrity contestants will be joining in on designated days to tap into the brand's spirit of playful rivalry and friendly banter.
The event is launching at a time when many young adults are returning to school and Who's the Captain Now? inspires people to connect with friends new and old.
