The NotCo NotSquares have been added to the Chile-based food tech brand's product portfolio to provide consumers with a functional snack to incorporate into their everyday diet.
The food product was developed by the brand's Giuseppe artificial intelligence (AI) technology and has a sugar-free formulation that puts the Palatinose carbohydrate in the spotlight that has a slow-release profile. This is reported to deliver a sustained level of energy without the associated fatigue and appetite increase that can come with eating large amounts of refined sugar. Made with 60% cocoa, the snack squares are also formulated with vitamin B6.
CEO and Co-Founder Matías Muchnick spoke on the NotCo NotSquares saying, "The functional food and snack categories are exploding right now and will continue to grow in the coming years. We saw this trend and understood the opportunity. We started with NotSnack Bars Protein and it was incredible with an 11% share in less than a year. This gave us the signal that it was worth betting in this direction, and that is why we are here today with NotSquares, which is targeting an even broader audience. This will be the spearhead of NotCo’s innovation from now on.”
