In the Spring/Summer issue of F*cking Young!'s magazine appears a highly unique editorial that seems to consider how much control the North Korean government holds over its people.
With the issue, titled 'OUTSIDER' and the editorial dubbed 'North Korea,' F*cking Young! employs Filip y Kito for the photography and styling, as well as Elias Pedrosa for hair and Vicente Guijarro for makeup. The muses of the editorial are Son Jin Cho Kim, David HyunSeop Song, Sung Pil Choi and Victor Chen. In each of the images, the models are shown connected to puppet strings, with mysterious hands controlling their movements from above.
It's through this that the editorial seems to consider the impact of the North Korean government, as the lack of control the model's are symbolically stuck with is representative of the lack of freedom in the country. Through this, F*cking Young! shows off clothing from brands like Gucci, Burberry, Dior and many more.
