Nigori Sparkling is the first sparkling cloudy sake from DASSAI Blue produced in the United States and it's naturally fermented in the bottle and packaged in the same style as champagne. This product is made with premium Yamada Nishiki rice, the “king of sake rice," polished down to 50% and a natural fermentation process that only involves rice, koji and no added sugar.
This refreshing, effervescent cloudy sparkling sake is said to be the equivalent of brut nature. In terms of taste, this light, fresh and bubbly beverage has bright aromas and subtle sweetness with notes of green apple.
Made in the newly opened Sake Brewery in Hyde Park, Nigori Sparkling is sold at the brewery, which also offers tastings, tours and by-the-glass purchases.
