Bored? Downtown? Neg’s Urban Sports are outlandish challenges where contestants disrupt social norms, pranking victims in score-able challenges. For example, how long can you ride a big stranger? When you knock on a stranger’s door, how long can you keep them from closing the door? Be crazy, and keep score.
Neg’s Urban Sports are actually part of a segment in ‘Balls of Steel’, a hilarious UK game show where participants try to outdo each other with outlandish pranks and stunts. The games are hosted by Neg Dupree, a British comedian best known in the UK for this particular segment.
For example:
Burger Bowl Off (Main Video) - How many burgers can you throw at a contestant? (This one is the most ridiculous.... But hopefully it got your attention).
Keep Em Out - How long can you keep people from entering an elevator or exiting a subway? You’ll have to be ridiculously crazy to break the typical social patterns.
Knock and Don’t Run - Instead of running, the objective is to see how long you can keep someone from closing their door. Be creative.
Big Stranger Rodeo - When you see a big stranger, jump on them like its a rodeo. How long can you stay on?
Urban Sprinting - Take a security tag, escape a store, and see how far you can run while the security guard chases you.
Urban Skittles - Run into a shop and scream for people to get on the floor. The more people that do, the more points you get.
Make em Move - Acting strangely, how quickly can you make people move or run away (no touching)!
