The Kellogg Company has announced it will be introducing NaviLens technology across its four of its core cereal products in a bid to support shoppers who are blind or who have low vision capabilities. The launch will feature the NaviLens optimal smart code at the bottom-left section on the front of the boxes where it can be detected and read to shoppers as they navigate aisles. The launch will support the nearly 12-million adult consumers in the US who are blind or who have low vision by making the task of grocery shopping a little easier.
Chief Brand and Advanced Analytics Officer at the Kellogg Company Charisse Hughes commented on the NaviLens technology launch saying, "Thanks to the hard work of our cross-functional teams, we're able to adapt and leverage this technology to ensure we're living by our purpose—to create a place at the table for everyone."
