Kellogg's Joins NaviLens on Creating the New ddTags Packaging
References: prnewswire & designtaxi
Kellogg Company works together with technology company NaviLens on a new ddTags feature that is made to be detected by smartphones. This is made to cater to those who are blind of visually impaired as packaging may be hard to read or interact with.
This new technology is easy to decipher as the tags are designed with a 160-degree vision field that allows users to scan around their space. It emits audio cues and vibrations to help direct customers to the right place. When it is picked up by connected smartphones, it provides information including allergens, nutritional values, and other information about the cereal of choice. It will soon add the tddTags to " Corn Flakes, Special K Original, Crispix, and Rice Krispies in the US."
