Beirut design studio T Sakhi has launched two highly experimental Venetian Murano glass tableware ranges. The objects in the collections seek to explore new textures through the hybridization of materials. In order to achieve an interesting element of design, T Sakhi accented its Murano glass tableware with recycled metal threads and powder. The two collections are dubbed 'Tasting Threads' and 'Nomads.'
For the unconventional accent, founders Tessa and Tara Sakhi used metal debris, including aluminum, copper, brass, and other metal powder from local factories. Aside from its innovative exploration of texture, the Murano glass tableware also captivates attention by way of its vibrant nuances. From long and short glasses to deep bowls and flat plates, the T Sakhi collection is bound to make a statement.
