Delhi-based design studio Vakr presents a look at the new Lgar and Namiti table series. Both of the looks highlight form and function with new themes that surround the idea of structural art and home furniture simultaneously. The two table designs have a contour language inspired by Hindi and Sanskrit words that mean 'wave' and 'fusion.'
It is inspired by the structural dynamics that happen under pressure. Lehar is made from concrete and the Namiti table is made from reclaimed wood. It appears to have a broken look held together with a rattan detail for visual tension. Each one of te series is made up of ten pieces -- this includes a series of coffee tables, wall shelving, consoles, and more.
