MOLD Architects, a Greek architecture and design studio, recently focused its efforts on a secluded home on a rocky cove situated on Sefrifos Island, which boasts a beautiful ocean view and seamlessly integrates the surrounding outdoor space with the residence.
While many modern homes seek to marry indoor and outdoor spaces with large windows, open-concept designs, and foliage, MOLD Architects takes its seamless design to another level by drilling into the slope of a hill to carve out a space. Due to its unique placement, the Ncaved House has a tiered design, with each storey featuring only the ground beneath it. Despite being set into the side of a hill, the residence has no shortage of natural light, with large windows and glass doors opening up the different rooms to the outdoors.
