Photography studio Santiago & Mauricio created a 3D-printed, jarringly realistic model doll version of real-life fashion model Lindsey Wixson.
Wixson, with her distinctive pouting lips and gap teeth, was a natural candidate for the model doll project; the unusual model doll is easily recognizable as a replica of the American runway darling. The 20-inch 3D-printed model doll -- called 'Modoll' -- poses for photos wearing miniature facsimiles of Fall/Winter 2015 runway looks, including designs by Miu Miu, Prada and Marc Jacobs. Her wigs are created by celebrated wig stylist Thanos Samaras, while artist Ralph Siciliano does her air-brushed makeup and manicures.
Working in partnership with their team of stylists, artists and designers, as well as Lindsey Wixson's agency The Society Management, it took Santiago & Mauricio one full year to create the model doll.
