Disney's 'Moana' tells the story of an adventurous Polynesian princess who is constantly thinking outside of the box—as such, the packaging for the Moana doll has been designed to be just as inventive.
At a first glance, the Disney doll seems to be packaged in just another rectangular box. But the packaging has been specifically designed so that it's made from 70% recycled paper with pieces that are incredibly easy to separate for recycling. However, kids will want to hold onto one of the largest pieces of packaging, since it can be transformed into a boat that the Moana doll can sail in.
Now, Disney and nonprofit organization Destination Imagination, Inc. are launching an Amazing Invention Photo Challenge, which challenges kids and their parents to create their own creative objects from recycled materials for the chance to win a trip to the Moana premiere in Los Angeles.
