Mind Blown's New Plant Based Crab Cakes Deliver a Meat-Like Flaky Texture

The Plant Based Seafood Co. has announced the newest addition to its popular Mind Blown line with the launch of 'Mind Blown Plant Based Crab Cakes.' The new alternative seafood product will now be offered alongside the brand's popular plant-based shrimp and scallop offerings.
Meant to replicate the taste and texture of traditional crab cakes, the new Mind Blown product comes seasoned with celery, onion, and panko breadcrumbs. Meanwhile, the crab filling is made from a mix of soy, dairy, palm oil, and corn. As a result, these plant-based crab cakes deliver a flaky texture and familiar flavor, making them an ideal meat-free alternative for seafood lovers.
"We wanted to make a plant-based version of our crab cakes and knew they would have to be identical to the original versions in taste and texture. We’re proud to say that in any application of a traditional crab cake, the Mind Blown versions do equally as well, if not better," said Monica Talbert, co-founder of Mind Blown.
