The New Chobani Meze Dips are Inspired by Turkish Appetizers
Katherine Pendrill — March 14, 2016 — Lifestyle
US dairy company Chobani recently expanded it portfolio with its new meze dips. Meze is a selection of small dishes served as an appetizer in Mediterranean countries such as Greece, Turkey and Azerbaijan. Now, Chobani has built on this culinary tradition by creating yogurt-based dips inspired by meze.
The new meze dips are made form a combination of fresh vegetables, herbs, spices and creamy Greek yogurt. Like other Chobani products, the dips are made entirely from natural and GMO-free ingredients. The dips are also intended to be healthier than other pre-packaged hummus products, with 80 percent less fat and 65 percent fewer calories.
With four savory flavors to choose from, the tasty Mediterranean dips give consumers a new way to enjoy Chobani yogurt.
