CNN Headline News T-Shirts
lourdes sanchez bayas — April 26, 2008 — Pop Culture
News media giant CNN launched a website selling T-shirts of your news headlines. T-shirts with headlines such as "Pelosi says no to combined ticket", "Prank promotes sex, booze after prom" and "Deadly snake found slithering on beach" can be ordered from the online store.
The T-shirts, which come in four sizes (small, medium, large and extra-large) and three colors (black, gray and white) sell for $15 a piece.
Is this a smart move on CNN's part? I don't know, but this reminded me of that David Bowie song, "All the Young Dudes" whose chorus says, "All the young dudes carry the news..."
