Since McDonald's first introduced the McRib back in 1982, the perfectly seasoned boneless pork sandwich has remained a popular staple among the many fans who await for its return on the chain's menu.
On December 2nd, 2020, US consumers will have the chance to get their hands on it once again, with McDonald's taking the sandwich nationwide for the first time since 2012. Linda VanGosen, Vice President of Menu Innovation, spoke to the comeback, stating "There’s nothing quite like the taste of the McRib. To our customers, it’s become more than a delicious, saucy moment… it’s a season, and it’s taking the internet by storm. That’s why this year, we’re proud to serve the McRib nationwide for everyone to enjoy."
The McRib will be available at participating restaurants for carry-out and drive-thru orders, or through the McDonald's app and delivery service.
