With a new app called 'Tonic Journey,' Bombay Sapphire is hoping to inspire new possibilities the next time you make your own drink with its products. Through this app, consumers are able to answer a series of questions that will factor into developing an understanding of a user's "emotional profile" and flavor preference. Questions attempt to gauge how adventurous a consumer is, as well as if they prefer a botanical flavor or something else entirely.
With this app, the idea is that bartenders are better able to use their creativity to craft drinks based on a drinker's likes. Another handy tool for mixologists available in-app is a guide to the molecular structure of flavors and details of the best pairings.
At the end of the Tonic Journey, there's even the chance to name your customized tonic.
