The Luum Temple has been created as a sustainable building in Tulum, Mexico that is crafted from eco-friendly materials with a meditation-focused intention.
The building was designed by CO-LAB Design Office and is situated in a residential development calls Luum Zama that is focused on conservation. Although it maintains a powerful, sturdy aesthetic the building is made entirely from bamboo materials and will even provide effective protection from sun and rain to make it ideal for meditation practice and more.
The building was explained by the architects behind the project who said, "Luum Temple is a show case for sustainable development, it combines innovative design and engineering with artisanal building and organic sustainable materials. The arched vaults support each other, co-existing in structural dependency, serving as a reminder to the community of our interdependence and the accomplishments we can achieve when we work together."
