Chipotle Mexican Grill launched a live event on TikTok in order to celebrate Pride, which was titled ‘Lunch & Listen.’ The ‘Lunch & Listen’ event featured influencers and was streamed on June 26th. The QSR company donated $1 for each viewer of the event to the Center for Balck Equality, which is a group of Black gay pride organizers.
Karamo, a TV personality, was the host of the event which focused around discussing experiences as public people in the LGBTQ+ community. Several TikTok creators also participated in the event including Isabella Avila, Eva Gutowski, and Collins O.
In previous years Chipotle supported similar charitable initiatives, by donating proceeds from food purchases that were made on Instagram.
