Papila Collection's L’Original Macaron Ice Cream puts a colorful, refreshing spin on the classic ice cream sandwich by swapping out the usual biscuits, wafers or cookies with a delicate French confection. According to the company, the biggest challenge in creating these frozen desserts was "mastering the delicate balance of humidity transfer from the ice cream to the macaron shell, a feat that required exceptional skill and ingenuity to prevent sogginess."
These hybrid desserts are available in three varieties: Chocolate—with the macaron and ice cream both made with 80% cocoa gourmet chocolate—Raspberry and Lychee, and classic Vanilla, made with a premium blend of three vanillas sourced from Madagascar, Mexico and Tahiti.
