As an alternative to the many cosmetics that are packaged with little to no regard for the environment, the lipstick packages from Axiology celebrate "purposeful packaging."
Axiology's triangular cosmetic boxes are sourced from a recycled paper boutique in Bali. This boutique collects paper from people across the island to repurpose it into pulp that is sun-dried and given a second life as a new material. As well as helping to cut down on trash on the island, the lipstick packaging makes use of a usable material that is already in existence.
Axiology's commitment to the environment goes beyond packaging, as it avoids the use of palm oil and palm oil derivatives in its natural lipstick products and donates to the Orangutan Foundation International to address how the ingredient is displacing the species.
