Build-A-Bear partnered with Disney to launch a new 'The Lion King' collection in anticipation of the movie's launch on July 19, 2019. The collection features all the classic characters, including young Simba, young Nala, adult Simba, adult Nala, Pumbaa, and Timon. The collection also includes Lion King-themed apparel for the brand's standard stuffies.
The plush animals have a DIY theme, where consumers -- specifically kids -- can help create and dress their new stuffed animals. The process also includes a special heard ceremony in addition to photo opportunities. Leading up to the launch, on July 19-21 and August 2-4, consumers will be able to participate in movie-themed activities as well as receive a 'The Lion King' movie poster.
The plush animals will be available online and to make yourself in stores, ranging from $15 to $35.
