Social business platform LinkedIn has announced that it will be expanding its suite of 'Creator Mode' tools to include unique profile enhancements and audio events. The new tools will be offered alongside other creator-focused features that the brand recently introduced, such as 'LinkedIn Live' and newsletters.
No doubt, the new suite of offerings represents a move by LinkedIn to embrace and capitalize upon the creator economy. LinkedIn's new audio events feature will allow users to host discussions, conduct interviews, and facilitate other conversations. In a sense, the new features resemble those offered by other community conversational apps such as Twitter Spaces and Club House.
“Since first launching Creator Mode last March, we’ve been excited to see the rapid adoption of our suite of creator tools—everything from newsletters to audio events to enhanced analytics,” said Keren Baruch, product lead for creator strategy at LinkedIn.
