It's hard to be excited about one's career in the middle of a global pandemic, prompting LinkedIN's latest TV ad spot dubbed 'Let's Step Forward Together.'
The ad centres around destigmatizing unemployment, and encourages consumers to take baby steps toward the bigger picture. This ad was released as part of the brand's In It Together campaign, which first launched in 2018. Prior to the pandemic, Linkedin was using its marketing efforts to remind consumers of the thousands of jobs available, but have quickly shifted gears due to the current climate, and realities of unemployment.
With its more mindful stance, Linkedin hopes to help workers through this difficult transitional period. According to Peter Maxmin, vice president of LinkedIn’s global brand, “Professional progress isn’t something where you leap from one place to another: It always starts with a single step,”
