JW Anderson's 'Les Hors D'oeuvres' Simplifies Gender Fluid Clothing

JW Anderson's latest showcase entitled, 'Les Hors D'oeuvres' was unveiled at London Fashion Week recently, The designer highlights slow fashion with his new Fall/Winter 2018 collection, drawing upon the idea of gender fluid clothing. Anderson turns his attention towards the way that consumers shop in modern day and realizes that gender boundaries are becoming much more blurred.

The Les Hors D'oeuvres installation was a setting for JW Anderson's latest pieces that aim to simplify the concept of non-conforming clothing. The entire collection is designed with simplicity in mind and with the reference of the 'great outdoors.' There is a range of militaristic garments, plaid shirts, and handkerchief skirts. To assist in seasonal transition, there are offerings such as knitwear, sequinned dresses, and leather pants. Anderson's signature bag also makes a re-appearance, but with a updated satchel twist.
