The Komera Leadership Centre showcases a stunning example of architecture, informed by local practices. Located in Rwanda's Eastern Province, the structure was designed by BE_Design, in collaboration with Rwanda Village Enterprises. Throughout the silhouette of the building, references to Rwandan Imigongo art-inspired geometric patterns are evident. Structurally, these translate to angular, woven architectural forms. The leadership center is visually appealing with its zig-zagging roofs, its herringbone brick walls, and woven eucalyptus screens..
