The Lactica Dairy packaging concept is a very clever one that unites the products with the name of the brand and a catchy big-picture theme. Inspired by the Milky Way as a symbol to bring the image of these goods out of this world, the designer made a number of witty outer space references.
The vacuum-sealed plastic bags that hold the wedges of cheese and the milk are reminiscent of the food packages that get sent by NASA to astronauts in orbit. The black color that Open Studio by K applied to them is like the dark backdrop of the universe. On the back of Lactica Dairy packaging, white dots map out constellations.
