KFC Mashed Potato Poppers are a new menu addition that makes comforting mashed potato side dishes snackable. These poppable potato bites with a crisp coating came to be because of international menu items. “We were inspired by a popular KFC menu item in Australia called Mashies, but our new Mashed Potato Poppers are a refined, modern take on our iconic mashed potatoes and seamlessly complement gravy or any dipping sauce on the menu,” said a KFC spokesperson.

The all-new Mashed Potato Poppers are featured in the brand's Dunk It Bucket, KFC's first new bucket in nearly a decade. This KFC bucket with crispy Mashed Potato Poppers, hand-breaded Original Recipe Tenders, and Secret Recipe Fries is made for dipping, dunking and drenching. While snackers with a love of the classic will gravitate toward sauce options like Warm Gravy or Classic Ranch, others may prefer Sticky Chicky Sweet and Sour Sauce or Honey BBQ.
