Kawasaki appeared at the Suzuka racetrack in Japan this week to demonstrate the performance of its Kawasaki electric motorbike and hybrid motorbike. These two motorsports-focused vehicles achieved high speeds while remaining largely silent in video footage from the racetrack demonstration.
While Kawasaki did not release exact performance specifications of each bike yet, the hybrid model achieved performance relatively equal to motorsports bikes in the 400cc to 650cc range, while the fully electric model is yet to be interpreted.
Kawasaki will use its electric and hybrid motorbikes to compete in upcoming motorsports leagues in Japan. In advance of the official debut, it is expected that the Japanese automaker will host a full unveiling event where it confirms the manufacturing partner and internal components of each model.
