After creating Cauliflower Gnocchi, which became an immense hit with consumers, Trader Joe's is now introducing Kale Gnocchi as another healthy take on a beloved pasta dish. Notably, fresh kale is said to account for over 50% of the gnocchi recipe, which also contains just a few other simple ingredients like potato starch, chickpea flour, sea salt and extra virgin olive oil.
According to Trader Joe's, Kale Gnocchi has "the same, satisfyingly chewy texture of 'regular' gnocchi, and the same earthy, slightly nutty flavor of 'regular' kale."
Trader Joe's recommends serving its Kale Gnocchi with grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, olive oil and for those who really love the flavors of kale, perhaps even Trader Joe's Vegan Kale, Cashew & Basil Pesto.
