JanSport Launches a Backpack Range For the Mobility Impaired
JanSport has debuted a new collection of accessible crossbody bags and backpacks to make its iconic bag lineup available to all. People with disabilities often require more gear to get through their days, and JanSport aims to make it easier for these individuals to access items in their bags without compromising their comfort or safety. One of the new features for the accessible bags is a reduced depth so wearers can easily access the bottom of the bag.
At the same time, easy-release buckles and finger loops allow for easy maneuvering for individuals with dexterity limitations. Anchor straps help the bag fit multiple chair types and sizes, while dual side grab handles and attachment points allow for more customization options. The bag was created in cooperation with Disability:IN, a disability advocacy group.
