Yayoi Kusami is well-known for her optical illusionary 'Infinity Room' installations. The newest of said installations cover the rooms of Denmark's 'Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.' Each one plasters the same designs across the walls, ceilings and floors as well as three-dimensional objects to truly enclose the participants in the experience.
One Infinity Room appears to be inspired by the cheetah, with bright yellow backgrounds and various sized black dizzying dots. Another resembles the outfits of Minnie Mouse, bright red with white spots and giant blow-up sculptures scattered around the room. Yet another surrounds the person with short white and red plant-like cushions, creating a lush field of mismatched shapes. It houses the viewer in the center of the room, enclosing them with ceiling-to-floor mirrors for a trippy visual experience.
