Kuen Tang had the idea to create an inclusive comic book that is inspired by her experiences as someone who lives with a disability.
Tang, who is quadriplegic, has faced many challenges and accomplished many significant feats, and her goal to release a comic book based on the various experiences she has had serves to give a greater voice to the distinct experiences of those with disabilities. The inclusive comic book features various stories with humorous takes, and hopes to inspire both those who are living with disabilities, and those who are without them.
The comic book was created in collaboration with different artists, and Kuen Tang's Kickstarter is currently raising money to pay for their contributions to the comic book, and to promote the final product.
