Barbie continues to champion inclusivity with its latest release, Blind Barbie, a new doll designed to celebrate accessibility and diversity. The brand's newest doll is called Blind Barbie, and is dressed in a lavender tiered skirt and sunglasses, accompanied by a cane.
The launch of Blind Barbie is complemented by a clothing collection designed in collaboration with Aille Design, a Canadian adaptive fashion brand. This collection includes both kids' and adult sizes, with a notable highlight being the Classic Chevron Braille Dress. This modern reinterpretation of the iconic chevron bathing suit from the original 1959 Barbie showcases a contemporary silhouette while incorporating inclusivity-focused messages in Braille. Adding to the collection’s distinctiveness is an accompanying scarf adorned with 400 Swarovski pearls that spell out a Braille message.
