Halo Brewery, a small brewery and tasting shop that is located in the west end of Toronto and specializes in Belgian and American style beers laced with a heavy dose of experimental ingredients and methods, has launched a brand new imperial IPA that is inspired by the late hip-hop legend MF Doom.
The DOOM! 4 Imperial IPA, launched a year after the release of its predecessor DOOM 3, makes use of dual inspiration in that its label is inspired by MF Doom as well as the iconic 1990s video game DOOM. This beer also happens to be the fourth byproduct of Halo Brewery's collaboration with Toronto's Laylow Brewery.
As far as its flavor profile is concerned, the DOOM! 4 Imperial IPA makes heavy use of Mosaic and El Dorado hops that give it an aggressively boozy taste.
