Capsule hotels are extremely popular across Japan, but a new establishment in Tokyo is set to appeal specifically to female tourists as a hotel for women.
The Nadeshiko Hotel Shibuya gets its name from a flower that's known for its feminine beauty. Inspiration from the natural world is carried throughout the hotel, which features cocoon-shaped capsules and a public path with plenty of comforting elements that remind of Japan's famed Mt Fuji. At the hotel's gift shop, women are able to try on traditional kimonos and enjoy an assortment of refreshments that are local to the region.
Now that the hotel has opened as of the first of April, it is taking reservations in English, appealing to solo female travelers worldwide.
