Starbucks Japan is offering Hot Apple Tea and Apple Caramel Frappuccinos for the duration of the holiday season. This time of year, most coffee shops sell the same variety of holiday drinks. These tea-based beverages offer a different take on traditional holiday flavors.
The new Hot Apple Tea is a warm drink made from a combination of black tea, rooibos tea and apple juice. The drink is served warm and topped with diced apples, whipped cream and a little bit of cranberry apple sauce. The chilled version of the Hot Apple Tea is the Apple Caramel Frappuccino. The frappuccino features a milk base, which is infused with cranberry and apple sauce. The drink is then topped with whipped cream and the same cranberry apple sauce found on the hot version.
For those who prefer more traditional holiday fare, Starbucks Japan also offers a Gingerbread Latte and a Crunchy Caramel Toffee Latte.
