Starbucks Japan Was Inspired by Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

Starbucks Japan has introduced many berry frappuccinos over time and the newest one launched for the holiday season takes cues from the chocolate-covered strawberries enjoyed at Christmas markets in Germany. The Chocolate Strawberry Festive Frappuccino is the first Christmas Frappuccino of the year and it is decorated with toppings to make it look like a red stand at a holiday market.

Building on a chocolate base, strawberry juice and pulp are featured in the beverage, which makes for a fun and festive textured treat. Launching alongside the new drink is a giftable collection of drinkware and the Chocolate Strawberry Festive Mocha, made with steamed milk and espresso.

On the menu at Starbucks Japan, there will be plenty of returning favorites like the Gingerbread Latte, the Creme Brulee Latte and Caramel Almond Milk.
