When lemonade just won't cut it, this homemade wine cooler is the perfect boozy beverage for sweltering summer days. Made from fresh watermelon and chilled Pinot Grigio, this recipe is both flavorful and refreshing.
To make your DIY wine cooler, you will need watermelon juice, half a lime, seltzer water, simple syrup and Pinot Grigio. If you don't have simple syrup on hand, you can whip your own by boiling one cup of water with one cup of sugar. Once you have your ingredients assembled, puree half of your watermelon and then strain the mixture to get rid of any pulp or seeds.
