The HMS Invincible is Put Up for Sale to the Public
Michael Hines — December 6, 2010 — Autos
If I wasn't a starving student, I would put in a bid on the HMS Invincible. The British Navy is auctioning off the decommissioned aircraft carrier publicly to the highest bidder.
The HMS Invincible will probably be bought by someone wanting to use it as a museum, but I am hoping for a different outcome. I would love to see a rich entrepreneur buy the HMS Invincible and sail it all around the world. There is no price listed for the ship, but I imagine it will cost a pretty penny or two.
