AIDS Concern Hong Kong put together an experiment to see if the lure of free products would be enough to get people to push past HIV stigma. The vehicle for this awareness stunt was a truck giving out free coffee, made by people who are HIV positive. This was heavily emphasized, but HIV can't be transmitted though daily contact.
Despite how ominous and dark the free coffee truck was dressed up to be, several members of the public stepped up to fight the stigma that surrounds HIV. Playing off of the food truck phenomenon and a widespread love of coffee, this is a clever campaign to have people rethink what they know about HIV and AIDS.
