Blenz Coffee Hosted a Charitable Donation Campaign
In October, also known as Breast Cancer Awareness month, Blenz Coffee hosted a charitable donation campaign. The Coffee by Donation initiative was hosted on October 17th. People were invited to donate and receive any size of Blenz's brewed coffee. The initiative ran at over 60 Benz Coffee locations in British Columbia and Alberta. Funds raised by the charitable donation campaign were directly deposited to the breast cancer research and advocacy by the Canadian Cancer Society. In addition to this, Blenz Coffee turned its yellow to-go cups pink to raise awareness about breast cancer.
The brand has been a partner of the Canadian Cancer Society for over a decade, raising over $140,000 for breast cancer research, early detection, and patient support. Geoffrey Hair, President and Co-Founder of Blenz Coffee states that: “The Pink Cup Campaign has evolved into a powerful platform over the years that not only raises funds for the great work that the Canadian Cancer Society is doing but also shines a bright light on the importance of breast cancer research and awareness.”
