While Brad Josephs was gathering footage for the BBC Great Bear Stakeout tv series, he captured frightening footage of a grizzly bear eating his GoPro camera.
While the GoPro camera is ideal for adventurers, hopefully it is rare that someone gets this close to capture an intense video like this. The frightening footage shows the inside of the grizzy bear's mouth as it attempts to eat the camera. Although durable, I'm sure that this camera is not designed for this kind of encounter.
This grizzly seems more curious than intent on tearing the camera to shreds, you can't help but feel for the poor prey of this gigantic grizzly. Viewing this rare capture through the safety of my computer screen is far more preferable to what an experience like this would be like in real life.
